Assembly and Operating instructions

First ensure the canopy stabilising legs are firmly pegged down. Slide the channel guide attachments into the awning rail channel and line them up with the canopy stabilising legs
Pull the the first strap taught and guage where you need to position the ground spike. Attach the hook to the top of the ground spike while maintaining tension on the strap
Hammer in the ground spike at a 45 degree angle, as the ground spike is driven deeper the rubber tensioner will start to stretch, do not over tension the stretching of the tensioner combined with the natural "give" in the strap ensures the canopy is held firmly but not so rigidly that it may cause damage. If you require more or less tension move the ground spike accordingly. Once you are satisfied with the set up move on to the second strap and repeat the above
Check daily that the ground spikes have not worked loose

Even in moderate winds the best course of action is to roll in the awning and avoid any risk of damage

Assembly and Operating instructions

Feed the end of the strap into the slot in the ratchet assembly pull out about 6 inches and hold firmly.Work the ratchet handle up and down a couple of times untill the strap is attached.

Pull the the first strap taught and guage where you need to position the ground spike. Attach the hook to the top of the ground spike. Hammer in the ground spike at a 45 degree angle. Apply tension to the strap using the ratchet,
do not over tension the strap
the natural "give" in the strap ensures the canopy is held firmly but not so rigidly that it may cause damage. If you require more or less tension adjust the ratchet accordingly. Once you are satisfied with the set up move on to the second strap and repeat the above
